Already have a motor?
The smartIPR handpiece is designed to fit most slow-speed dental motors using a short E connection. Most electric motors already have one and will operate the smartIPR handpiece.
Offices using Midwest or Star air-driven slow-speed motors will need an air motor with a short E connection, as standard configurations may not be compatible.
With an electric motor, operate within 20,000–30,000 RPM. If you're new to the system, 20,000–25,000 RPM is recommended for the best control.
